Vibrant wrap featuring smoky chipotle chicken, creamy avocado, crisp lettuce, and tangy Greek yogurt sauce in a soft tortilla.

# What You Need:

→ Chicken

01 - 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 2 tablespoons chipotle in adobo sauce, finely chopped
03 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
04 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - ½ teaspoon ground cumin
07 - ½ teaspoon salt
08 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper

→ Greek Yogurt Sauce

09 - ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
10 - 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
11 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
12 - ½ teaspoon honey
13 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Assembly

14 - 4 large flour tortillas
15 - 1 large ripe avocado, sliced
16 - 2 cups shredded romaine or iceberg lettuce
17 - 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
18 - 1 medium tomato, diced

# Steps:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine chipotle in adobo sauce, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and toss to coat thoroughly. Marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 2 hours refrigerated for enhanced flavor development.
02 - Heat a grill pan or skillet to medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked and internal juices run clear. Transfer to a plate and rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
03 - In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, lime juice, cilantro, honey, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined.
04 - Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds until pliable and warm.
05 - Lay each tortilla flat. Layer lettuce, sliced chicken, avocado slices, red onion, and tomato in the center of each tortilla. Drizzle generously with Greek yogurt sauce.
06 - Fold in both sides of the tortilla and roll up tightly. Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Everything comes together in about half an hour, even if you marinate the full two hours while doing other things.
  • The chipotle gives serious flavor without making your mouth go numb, just enough kick to keep things interesting.
  • It feels indulgent but packs 32 grams of protein, so you actually stay full instead of raiding the pantry an hour later.
  • Cleanup is minimal because you only dirty a couple of bowls and one pan.
02 -
  • Do not skip resting the chicken after cooking, or all the juice will run out when you slice it and the meat will taste dry.
  • Warm your tortillas or they will crack and split the second you try to roll them, ruining the whole wrap.
  • Slice the chicken thin, not thick chunks, so every bite has a good ratio of filling to tortilla.
03 -
  • Marinate the chicken the night before so all you have to do is cook it when you get home, cutting your active time in half.
  • Double the yogurt sauce and keep it in the fridge because it is excellent on grilled veggies, tacos, or even as a dip for chips.
  • If your tortilla keeps tearing, it might be too cold, so warm it a little longer or let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before rolling.
